Much better than my previous fence which did not have a dust collection option. I have a magfitt 4” to 2 1/2” reducer attached to allow quick connections to my dust collector but I think a dedicated dust extractor would likely be a better option. My main duct is 6” which is reduced to 4” flex hose and then down to 2 1/2” at the drill press. The suction loss is pretty high.

I’ve ordered a few things from Great Western Saw and can only say highly recommended. They ship very fast, cover the packaging in Black Plastic if the item is in packaging that show what the item is. Works perfect for my setup. I have my dust collector set up outside of my shop in an adjacent room and was worried whether the remote would work with it not being in direct line with the ivac switch box. But that’s not the case at all. She works dandy and I’m very pleased with the purchase. Another great thing about the remote switch is it is expandable/compatible with other ivac components. No regrets here.

It’s just what I needed but it doesn’t quite cover the entire torch cable Only 22feet. Besides that it does what it’s intended to do, very pleased.
