UV Resistant Coating Epoxy

UVPoxy® is a high-performance, two-component, water-clear epoxy system designed for tabletops, wood finishing, and fluid art. It has been specifically designed to resist yellowing caused by the sun and other UV sources. It is self-leveling and can quickly be built up in 3.2mm (1/8") layers. Use UVPoxy by itself for a water-clear finish or add our Liquid, Metallic, or Glitter pigments to create custom colors and effects.

UVPoxy® Specifications

Mixing Instructions

In a clean, dry container combine (by volume) 1 part resin with 1 part hardener and mix thoroughly for 2-3 minutes. Add Liquid, Metallic, or Glitter pigments as desired and mix until evenly dispersed.

Application Instructions

Working area should be clean, dry, and free of dust. Settling dust can cause blemishes on the glossy surface. Pour UVPoxy onto the prepared surface and spread evenly. Use of a V-notched spreader is recommended to achieve a uniform finish at the desired thickness. A light pass with a torch can help release bubbles at, or near, the surface. UVPoxy can be applied up to 3.2mm thick (1/8”) per coat, using as many layers as needed to achieve the desired thickness. For best adhesion between layers, wait until the first layer is tacky to touch to apply another layer. If the first layer is already fully set to touch, sand with 220 grit sandpaper and wipe down before applying another layer. Recommended for indoor applications only.
